"Chocolate Puffed Hearts..."
Very easy and simple...
always good for snack times.. or coffee time..
ingredients:
- puff pastry dough
- powder cinamon
- sweet thickened milk
method:
- cut the dough into watever shape u like.. (i chose hearts)
- put it in a pirex and put in oven for 1/4 hour
- once its golden color take it out and poke it from the middle
- pour over it the thickened milk and then the cinamon powder
- for decoration: i used chocolate sauce...

Vegetarian Dish : "Lazania with pesto sauce"
Vegetarian Dish # 3:
"Lazania with pesto sauce"
Ingredients:
- pack of lazania
- Ricota Cheese
- Spinach
- Pesto Sauce
- Onion
- Garlic
- Thick cream
method:
- Boil the lasania, and make the sauce ready
- for the sauce mix the ricota cheese with spinach and pesto sauce,
- then in a pan fry the onion and the garlic until golden color then add to it the thick cream and mix for a minute and then take it out
- after the lazania is done boiling, fill it up and roll it, in a pirex add all the rolls and pour some thick cream over it and put in oven for 1/4 hour
- after taking out of oven put a little of ricotta cheese on top for decoration and a little of pesto sauce.
and SERVE!!!

Ingredients:
- Sliced Fried Egg plants
- minced meat (cooked with masala and onions)
- vinegar
- green coriander
- bell pepper
- chick peas
- tomatoes
- tomato sauce
method:
- on the base of the deep plate make a layer of the eggplants and add on top the minced meat, make another layer of eggplant
- on a pan fry some garlic, tomato juice and tomato sauce, maggi, 1/4 cup of vingar, once boiled add on top of the second layer of eggplants
- then decorate with bell pepper and chick peas and put in oven then once done decorate with coriander..

- 1/2 portion of pie dough
- 2 tablspoon sliced green olives
- 2 tablespoon sliced black olives
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 hot sliced green chilli
- 1 tablspoon chopped fresh mints
- 1 small diced tomato
- 1 egg

method:
- soak cheese in water for 1 hour to reduce the salt in it
- spread through dough on to pie mould base, prick with a fork and bake in oven at 160 degrees for 8 minutes
- mash cheese using fork combine it with all ingredients , pour mixture on top and cook in oven for a further 30 minutes at same temprature..

ingredients:
- 1 kilo of fish
- 2 chopped onions
- 2 tomatoes chopped
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 hot chilli
- teaspoon salt
- little bit of masala powder
- 3 cup of water
- 1 tablspoon corn oil
- 1 can of tomato paste
ingredients:
- cut onions into small pieces and fry it until golden color. then add to it the garlic and tomato paste and leave it to cook.
- wash the fish then put it in a pan and close it to cook
- when the fish is cooked, add the the tomatos, then the masala, then the water and leave on low heat for half an hour,,,
Note: * of course u can add vegetables.. any of them that u like!

Balaleet : Traditional Arabic Vermicelli Dish

This is my favourite,, i love to have it as my breakfast.. we only eat it at breakfast or dinner time... its very light and yummy too..
ingredients:
- 1 bag of vermicelli
- 5 small cups of sugar
- saffron
- 2 table spoon rose water
- 1 teas spoon ground cardomom
- 2 tablespoon ghee or butter
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- water for boiling
- eggs (i prefer omelet)
method:
- place water in a pan and bring to boil. season with turmeric
- add vermicili and boil once, remove from heat and drain
- add sugar , cardomom, and rose water, mixed with saffron
- grease a tray with ghee and pour vermicili in it. pour remaining ghee and cover. bake in an oven preheated to 150 degree for 10 minutes
- remove from oven and place in the serving dish with eggs.
Note: * DONOT over boil vermicili : 3 minutes is ENOUGH!!!

Arabic sweet dish : Khanfarush
Khanfarush "
Its a traditional sweet
ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup of semolina
- 1 cup oil
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup rose watr
- 1/4 teaspoon cardomom
- a little bit of saffron
method:
- mix eggs and sugar in dough mixer until it doubles in volume
- sift flour, semolina and baking powder and mix well
- add saffron and cardamom to rose water and then stir all ingredients with a wooden spoon
- bring the special shaper of these type of sweets or there is a machine as seen in the pics

- grease the machine with oil and pour a spoonful in every mould. close the machine for a few minutes.
Note: * Khanfarush can also be made in a frying pan or in small baking tins
