Home made 100% Whole wheat Bread using bread machine

100% whole wheat bread using Bread machine

I got this new bread machine which is a boon. i get to make fresh home made bread for my family everyday. This bread maker is my newest most favorite gadget.  My family gets fresh ,healthy, no preservatives bread.

There are many recipes online for bread made of all-purpose flour and 50% or less whole wheat. But none for 100%. I did trial and error and made my own 100% whole grain recipe. This is no fail formula. And bread is extremely soft and very tasty.

INGREDIENTS

Milk : 11/2 cups
(you can use milk and water 50-50 or only water. But milk is magic ingredient here to make your bread tasty and soft)
Egg 1
Honey : 1/4 cup
sugar 2 tablespoons
salt 11/2  teaspoon
Oil : 2 tablespoon

Whole wheat flour : 31/2 cups
yeast : 21/4 teaspoon
METHOD

1. In your bread pan start adding all ingredients exactly in order that they mentioned in list. This order is very important else bread will not mix well.

2. Choose 2 pounds loaf setting

3. Choose whole grain dough setting.

Turn on your bread maker.

Easy as ABC.

My bread-maker  makes my bread ready in 3 hours.

French toast

Hi,

Here is the recipe of simple basic french toast. It's favorite breakfast of my 3 year old and his daddy and yes of course mine.

My mom used to make most awesome french toasts. It is one of the earliest recipes I could make .

Here is easy peasy quick recipe.  I m typing recipe for 2 servings.

Serves 2

Ingredients:

Bread slices   :   3 numbers

I used whole wheat organic bread.

Eggs :  3 medium size

Sugar : 2 tablespoon

Maple syrup : 1/2 teaspoon

Canola oil (or any cooking oil)  : 2 tablespoon

Method:

1.  Cut of sides of bread slices and cut them diagonally from center to make two triangles in each size.

2. Beat eggs and sugar and maple syrup in a flat bowl. I used a large size sandwich box to make it easy to immerse slices of bread.

3. Pick one triangle of bread and immerse in the egg mix . Let it soak for 1 full minute , flip and soak another minute in egg mix.

4. Spray oil on non stick pan and preheat on medium flame.

5. Roast the soaked bread  for 1 minute on each side till golden brown.

Repeat with other slices.

Serve with maple syrup and whipped cream.  Enjoy with hot tea.

I have made 4 servings of french toast in picture.
