🌸 My Morning Routine as a Housewife: Peace, Purpose & Practicality 🌞
Mornings set the tone for my whole day. As a housewife, I’ve learned that starting with intention (and some calm!) helps me stay balanced — even when the day gets unpredictable. Here's a peek into my daily morning routine:
🌅 5:30 AM – Gentle Wake-Up & Spiritual Start
I like to wake up early, before the house is busy. It’s my quiet time with Allah and myself.
-
I make wudu and pray Fajr.
-
Then I sit quietly for 5-10 minutes of dhikr or dua, focusing on gratitude and asking for strength for the day.
-
I read a few ayahs of Qur’an or a page of tafsir — it centers me deeply.
🍋 6:00 AM – Hydration & Light Stretch
-
I drink a glass of warm water with lemon or just plain water.
-
Sometimes I stretch or walk a bit on the balcony or in my room — even just 5 minutes wakes up the body.
🍳 6:30 AM – Breakfast Prep & Quick Tidy-Up
I begin breakfast — something simple like oats, eggs, or toast with tea.
-
While tea is brewing, I wipe counters, set the table, and quickly check the kitchen.
🧒 7:00 AM – Family Time Begins
The kids (or husband) wake up, and I help them get ready for school or work.
I pack lunch if needed.
We have breakfast together, and I try to keep this time calm, without rushing too much
